View Full Version : Crooked heatsink on my P5E !!
Hey all, check out these pics and let me know if this is something I need to worry about.

Should I just bend it back alittle or leave it alone?

take it off and re-seat it.
check for damage.
Whats it stuck on with? Has the bump it took cracked the thermal interface material causing reduced thermal conductivity is it?

No, that push pin isn't part of that H/S and it is straight. Just looks weird from that angle. I actually just bent it back to almost normal :) I'm retro fitting my 120 extreme and the heat pipes are hitting the MB H/S's !! That wasn't supposed to happen WTF!
I am going to a removal of all of the heat sinks as there aluminum and not copper. When I do I will post a crap load of pics and what fits.
