Word on the Creative forums is that these install an older driver file and are causing issues. Not sure what the deal is, I have no tried them but they mentioned they fixed the 4GB problem in the last set. So they install an older driver and are still problematic. I'm confused here.

It hasn't been that long since they updated the driver. And I haven't had any problems with my sound in a very long time. Its been pretty much perfect for about a year.

No, it's not.
7 out of the 9 people in this thread are running vista, that seems high, but I would think that over half the people on the forums have vista installed...

From November of last year, but I highly doubt Vista usage here on nVNEWS has jumped significantly since then...

The statistics below reveal that many of our visitors have made the transition to Windows Vista although they are in the minority. Also noteworthy is that the transition rate to Windows Vista has been decreasing during the past few months and started to level off.

The slower adoption of Windows Vista among enthusiasts could be an indication that there is no compelling reason to abandon Windows XP just yet.

October of last year..... That was 4.5 months ago, so I could imagine a %10 jump, so that would be around %40, but that doesn't tak in account a lot of factors, I do most of my posting on my mac running windows... BUt still I expected it to a bit higher.

I suppose a 10% jump is possible, but considering from April to October it didn't even go up 10% AND that the adoption rate had leveled off the last 3 months, I'd say it's highly unlikely.

I'd wager most people around have XP, it's just they are content and quiet. It's just were hear more from the Vista users as they are having some sort of issues to work out, or they are posting because they just made the move.

I couldn't stand the copy of xp(lee) I had installed, it was so ****ing buggy, that was the main reason I upgraded to vista. Believe it or not, vista has been way may reliable than xp ever was for me. Granted I upgraded 10 months after the release.
