can you guys help me pick out a pair of headphones that would be good for gaming from these sites www.bestbuy.ca or www.futureshop.ca. Best value would be what i am looking for, and i would like to spend no more then $150 if possible, but willing to spend more. Thanks so much.

just order a pair of these for only $89.99+Shipping
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106392&Tpk=hd555

Best sounding headsets i've ever had.

Sennheiser HD555s:thumbsup:

Unless you want a mic too.

I was looking at some wireless headphones the other day, I thinking about getting these(just because they are the most expensive), but will I lose quality does to them being wireless?

I would add some input, but i'm clueless about the haedphone/headset market

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=20849&vpn=HD555&manufacture=Sennheiser%20Electronics

Put your location information in here to see if you have a local dealer, there is a link in the top right.

i will try out the creative ones, thanks for helping. Darn, i wish i could find 555s for around 100 that will ship to canada. Since Canadian dollar now is approx = to American, no point in buying for 200 (for me), but 98 is an amazing price :(

well either best buy or futureshop or NCIX. unfortunately those places sell them at 200, when i can get the same value + product for 100 from american retailers. I am going to try amazon.....

I have those too. I really wanted these because I wanted to be able to switch from headphones to speakers and this provides that. I also have some last-generation LTB (also 5.1) headphones. Both of these are for gaming primarily and both do the job wrt positional awareness. Not really up to audiophile standards if that is what you want.

Dude use the search function. At least one exact same topic with lots of responses was present no more than a month or so ago ;)

But I will repeat my recommendation: Sennheiser HD595. No competition there..
