I have a spare quad lying around and I'm going to use it to build a secondary rig. I usually use water coolers for my main rig, so, I haven't kept up on the air coolers. Which is the best-of-the-best?

Ultra 120 from Thermalright. You'll need to provide a fan. I'm using a scythe 120mm.

What about the new Thermalright IFX-14 Internal Fire eXtinguisher ? With two 140mm fans?

I read reviews about Thermalright IFX-14, it gave no improvement in temps over Ultra 120 extreme as the Ultra 120 extreme has better low temps than IFX-14.

Yeah, the Ultra 120 or something similar. I love my new Tuniq Tower 120! Very impressed. :)

Can I put two fans on it? Does it include brackets for both sides, if so?

It include a pair of brackets for one fan on front of heatsink but you can mount another 120mm fan at the back of the case so the heatsink will be cooling on both side.

If your asking about the Ultra 120, it only comes with two brackets (enough for one fan), however, I think I've seen where people have only used one bracket and added another fan with the other bracket. Just not sure how secure that would be. I'm sure it would be too hard to get a 2nd fan on there anyways.

EDIT: You can purchase extra set of clips! http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6984/cpu-tri-50/120mm_Fan_Wire_Clips_for_Thermalright_Ultra-120_eXtreme.html

i just used rubber bands to attach my second fan. i used one bracket on each fan and put a rubber band over both fans on each end.
works perfectly fine.

and yes the ultra 120 extreme is one of, if not the best, air cooler

Wouldn't two fans create unwanted turbulence that would hinder cooling?

As long as they are both blowing in the same direction that shouldnt be an issue.

I can recommend the xigmatek thing ive got, it works good. (or it did before I put mx-2 on it)
