OK, in canada, only diehard basketball fans even KNOW there is an NCAA tournament, but i expected all you guys to be on top of it :p
biggest surprise for me so far would be Duke going out, but they are prone to early exits from the tournament.

nah, it's not really all that surprising. all year long duke has lived and died by the 3 ball. when they were on, they beat top teams, when they were off, they had some losses to some definite second rate teams. out of all of the "upsets" so far, the only true shocker is siena topping vandy. It's hilarious to watch a MAC teams even win in the tourney, let alone against the SEC which is supposed to be a "strong" conference.

No real surprises so far. All the upsets pretty much came against teams that were in danger of being exposed and were.

Friday in Tampa was amazing, however. Today's games have also been a treat. Too bad Butler couldn't pull one out.

Duke just doesn't have the athletes they have had in the past. They barely won the first game, and were no where close to deserving a 3 ranking.

Hate Duke with a passion, I have been a tar heel fan since I was born.

Davidson is a very solid team. They came close to beating Carolina earlier this year.

Woot! I finally figured out why my HD antenna hasn't been working so I get to watch the Wisconsin game in HD tonight. Now if they can just win I won't have to go into mourning...

Simply an AMAZING comeback by Kansas after being down 9 with 2 minutes to go...

...and the worst free-throw shooting in the clutch EVER by Memphis at the end of regulation.

Unbelievable meltdown.

Good OT Championship! The tournament is redeemed. :afro:

i got Montreal in east, maybe Rangers. In West, Detroit or San Jose, Wild are also dangerous.

Basketball coaches everywhere are rejoicing. Now anytime a player whines about shooting free throws they can show them tape of that game (and for that matter the Tennessee game) and say "See, they could have been undefeated if they could shoot free throws".

Teams I like are Dallas, N.J. and Boston, N.Y. Rangers are okay, too.

I don't think the Stars are going to get very far. Would really like to see Boston do something, but I don't know that much about them this year. N.J. has a chance, as always. Can't stand Detroit!

So, gotta root for the Stars, Devils, Bruins and Rangers...in that order.
