how do u go about uninstalling and installing drivers?
I normally go into add\remove and uninstall that way, delete the nvidia folder from where ever its installed, usually (C: ) Drive(do a search for nvidia) , i would then boot into safe mode, run driver cleaner pro in safe mode(select nvidia from the drop list then click start), re-boot then install the new drivers as normal. :)

alright, ill try that next time.
now in my NVIDIA folder i have:
nForce
nForceWinVista64
WinVista64
(those are folders btw)
i can delete all those and it wont mess up the nforce drivers?
Hmm, i wouldn't like to say
All i ever usually have is a single folder named "nvidia" ... you have a 680i chipet, i reckon the nForce might have something to do with that chipset?
Maby somebody who has a nvidia chipset motherboard can clear this up?

The driver folders located at C:\Nvidia\????????? are only used during the install of the drivers, you can safely delete the entire directory of C:\Nvidia once you've installed the drivers.

True. It copies the drivers to the windows folder and then you can delete the c:\nvidia
