Brian Cochran takes a look at Inno3D's overclocked GeForce 9600 GT. He checks out performance in F.E.A.R., Oblivion, BioShock and Crysis under Windows Vista at the sweet-spot resolutions of 1440x900 and 1680x1050.
Next I put the inno3D 9600 GT through it's paces at 1680x1050, which happens to be the maximum resolution that my screen can handle. Again, the older games performed very well at this resolution. We start to see some lower scores in BioShock when we turn on Antialiasing. The card almost audibly wept when it had to benchmark Crysis at this resolution. I could've sworn I heard a huge sigh of relief from the card when it was done with the Crysis benchmarks.
