http://www.nba.com/mavericks/news/Notebook_032408.html is the best news the Mavs have gotten all year. Dirt(yea his name is Dirt) Nowitzki is the most overrated player in the entire league. He's a stat stuffer and is nothing but a burden on the Mavericks. The Mavs have one of the most solid teams in the entire league minus Dirt. I really do believe that without him in the lineup, the Mavs will begin to realize they need to build the team around Jason Kidd. Once they realize this strategy works, when Dirt comes back, he will just be a normal Joe player(like he really is) instead of the star player.

Dirt is "ok" at shooting, but thats about it. Jason Kidd is the type person to build a team around, not Dirt. With Dirt simply playing as a puppet to Kidd, the Mavs will be a much better team and will actually start winning games.

"Dirty Dirk" has one of the best mid-range shots I've EVER seen. Defiantly not one of the greatest players of all time, but he's a lot better than a "normal joe."

I agree that a team built around Dirk will never win a championship. However, I still say he's the best player on their team at the moment.

I'll also go as far to say that a team built around Jason Kidd will never win a championship. Kidd is past his prime, and he couldn't pull a championship off when he was with the Nets.
