FW 174.74 beta (International) dated 03/24/2008:

Vista32 (54.8MB): http://pic.xfastest.com/z/174.74/XFastest%20174.74%20Vista32.rar

Vista64 (68.4MB): http://pic.xfastest.com/z/174.74/XFastest%20174.74%20Vista64.rar

No INF mod needed (orginal desktop INF supports all cards GF 5-9). There are a ton of laptop INFs included as well (they can all be deleted if you're not using a laptop GPU).

The links may be slow. Mobilenv hasn't mirrored this version yet.

Edit: all versions mirrored @ laptopvid: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showforum=89

Edit2: all versions now official betas:

XP32: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_174.74.html

GeForce 9800 GX2
GeForce 9800 GTX
GeForce 9600 GT
GeForce 8300
GeForce 8200
GeForce 8100/NVIDIA nForce 720a
NVIDIA nForce 730a

Vista64: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_174.74_whql.html

Note: the original leak, the official beta, and the official WHQL all have the same INF date (so probably the same driver).

XP64 (76.2MB): http://pic.xfastest.com/z/174.74/XFastest%20174.74%20WinXP64.rar

XP32 users: see this thread for mirrors and for an English version: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=109509

(laptop XP32 users should download from the leaker link because my versions have all those laptop INFs removed)

I just looked at the files of the official version (XP32) and it's got the same date as the leaked version. Besides all the OEM INFs and the xFastest splash screen bitmap, the difference would be that the official includes the "Portal" marketing stuff that's been included in all official drivers as of late. So you guys waiting for nv will probably be just downloading the same driver w/ Portal.

Damn my luck with 174 drivers ! :(
In COD 4 the image starts flashing and I would get kicked back to the desktop with a warning ("Video Driver Failure windows successfully recovered ..."). Drivers before 174.74 behaved like this from the start, right now it takes about 10 minutes.
Gears of War and UT3 would stutter badly, other games to some degree, 174.74 pretty much eliminates this, though not entirely.

What can I say, for some people 171.x drivers are bad (they work fine here), for a very few 174.x. Back to 169.44, I don't have SLI, I don't use profiles or any other features, what I need is stable drivers with decent performance and these drivers give me what I need.
At least they're on the right track with 174.74. :)

Hmm.. for me CoJ DX10 performs a LOT better than Crysis does at same settings. I played all the way through CoJ DX10 with decent performance at 1680x1050.

174.70 = Crysis @ 1920x1200 using a custom config consisting of a mix of high and very high in Vista DX10 I averaged 24.5 fps.

174.74 = Same Crysis settings I now average 27.70.

Since the 169.xx drivers I've averaged 24.5 (+ or - frame). This is the biggest Crysis boost I have personally seen.

Nice drivers indeed, Crysis very high (shadows on medium) is playable!! (30-40 fps 1600x1200x16AF noAA though)

Only Gothic3 has some textures issues and I still think SLI is not working as it should be in this tittle.

I was really enjoying 174.70, but yesterday I installed 174.74, they are an "official beta" and that makes me feel better. So far so good (only tested Half Life 2 Cinematic Mod) but I hope to give extensive testing this weekend
