just installed and tested

Oblivion outdoors (1920x1200 8xAF, Qarl TP 3):
169.09 - 73 FPS
174.74 - 73 FPS

Crysis GPU bench (1920x1200 8xAF, DX9 tweaked very high)
169.09 - 25 FPS
174.74 - 26.5 FPS

so a small boost in crysis... about time i try out some new drivers though :o

Yay, finally a driver for me where application based AA works for DirectX games and the conformant texture clamp doesn't cause a whole bunch or odd lines in Q3 engine games. I can enjoy my 8800 GT now.

I can confirm for those that were having graphics issues ( zebra stripes ) with MOHAA and CoD that these drivers have fixed the issue.

I had reported this problem back toward the end of last year.
nVidia customer care reported the bug to the driver development team ( bug ID 377342 ) and they appear to have followed through.

Great work guys !!!!!!

cheers

couldnt get the overscan option to come up but ive figured it out... on top of running the overscan patch you also need to switch to the HDTV and then go to manage custom resolutions... there put a tick beside 'treat as hdtv'

noticed in these drivers in the 3d settings in the nvidia control panel there's an extra setting

max frames to render ahead ?? you can select 0 to 10 or something. default is 3.

what's this setting ?

crysis run swell with these.

Hmm i seem to get texture corruption with these drivers in all games , anybody else ?

i'm not 100% sure its a driver issue though.

For anyone still running Vista -

Hahaha... how about lovin' Vista? For I am lovin' Vista.

Installed these last night, played some Crysis and Oblivion today. No real performance upgrades that I could tell, but everything runs smooth and well as it should. I never missed the AA settings since the last drivers I used were 169.44, but I'm glad they've returned in any case.

These drivers are working just fine. No problems to report. Games run great and look great. Pretty solid driver for my rig.

This driver performs very nicely, like the 174.32 before it (but IQ looks cleaner in Oblivion with this set as well as being faster).

However a gripe I've had with both driver sets is that icon transparency will suddenly fail under both sets. Very annoying and hopefully will be fixed soon.

Very good set.

Only one problem is, which is nice to know what games are installed and having it a feature but it shows games installed and the profiles but i have games installed like Cod4 and ut3 but it doesn't show them installed in the profiler.

Oh and good thing is, it shows sli recommended for the games that didn't before.

nice set keeprs for this big beast.

I am need of some help here. I currently have a 9800GX2 and a HANNspree 22" WS monitor which is hooked up threw a HDMI connection. The problem is that the desktop reverts to 16-Bit colors even though 32-Bit is enabled after a few minutes or when playing a games. I did what what was explained here in this post but still no luck at all. The monitor model is HF229H. I know it is a problem with the drivers since my 8800Ultra does the samething with these drivers and the same monitor.
