I just bought a graphics card (Ati Radion x1050 by Visiontek 256mb pci express) and now I am havening strange problem when there is motion on the screen, the audio distorts and sounds gurgley. This happens in games as well as flash video but if you minimize the video or what ever so their isn't any motion on the screen it sounds clear. Also when I change the color from 32 bit to 16 bit it improved some.

Heres what I have done

1.Updated sound and graphics drivers
Didn't help!

2.Uninstalled and reinstall both sound and video cards
Didn't help!

3.I took out the video card and used the on board video to test audio works 100 % without graphics card in (this proves the sound works!!!!)

4.Reformatted hard drive reinstalled everything
Didn't help!

Reason why I don't want to buy another sound card

A. Mine should work (works fine without graphics card)
B. I have no more free slots!
C. Why should I have to?

Please please please please help me!

im confused. so are you using a soundcard in one of your PCI slots? or is the sound onboard..?

if you're using a 3rd party sound card you'll need to go into the BIOS and make sure that
your onboard sound is set to disabled.

other than that, all i can muster up is perhaps your power supply can't keep up with the task?
