Apologies if this is an obvious question...
It appears that the NVIDIA Solaris x86 driver only officially supports the Quadro GPUs (per this link (http://us.download.nvidia.com/solaris/169.12/README/appendix-c.html)), yet there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that some GeForce cards also work (albeit unsupported). Eg, newest beta driver (http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=109423) annouces support for GeForce 9600 GT.
Is there any way to know for sure whether a particular GeForce card is going to work with this driver? Or is it just trial and error.
Thanks in advance...
