Mandrake and 4363

I have a P4 with a Shuttle AV49 VT8374 and a GeForce 4 MX440 running Mandrake 9.1. I installed the 4363 driver and edited the XF86config-4 file. Yet when i switched to run level 5, I get a black screen with small lines of color at the top and bottom edges. The log file for XFree86 says that it got starting in video mode 1280x1024, then there are no further entries. I have attached my nvidia installer log file.

I have seen replies to others with problems similar to mine, with the solution that the following line should be in the XF86config-4 file:

Option "NvAGP" "1"

I tried this but still yield the same symptoms as before.

or disabling it:

Option "NvAGP" "0" could work too.

I have tried these, but still the same.
are you guys having a AGP 8x mobo and a AGP 4x videocard, like me?
