Long answer, I like someone coming on to the board and starting right off by begging for hardware just about as much as I like all the local church folks who come around trying to sell me jesus unexpectedly at me front door whenever the hell the spirit takes them.
lol why dont you get a job or sumthin... :D i hate to tell you this... but nobody is gonna send you anything, unless they get something in return. unless they are REALLY nice :)

Here's a suggestion - instead of sitting on the Internet begging for charity here and Lord knows where else, head over to your local library, take a newspaper and puruse the want ads. Surely some company will take mercy on your pitifulness and give you a job so that you might earn your way to a new computer.
Else, take your sob story and your bandwidth elsewhere.
lol, u sob.
Yeah i guess i could send u over some of my old Sun parts. I have a 90 gig SUN hard drive with a fried DMA. I have some more too, i have an old SGI 360 digicam, only problem i need a SGI computer to use that type of plug which it has... i got loads of computer garbage. Mainly pc and sun parts.
I have to get rid of this stuff some day. I am not paying for the damn postage/shipping though. I think i even have a old GF2 somewhere, the graphics memory is screwed though.

I occasionally have engineering samples free for pick up if you're ever in the SF bay area, but I ain't gonna ship anything. Had a guy from viperlair forums decide it was worth driving 8 hours each way from southern California for an nForce2 and NV25. YMMV.

Not to detract from the spirit of the post, but man you're lucky to live in the Bay Area! My dad and I went to San Francisco over spring break and it was absolutely gorgeous!

Actually I have some stuff I am willing to give away if you pay shipping or come for it in the NYC area, Brooklyn to be exact. I tried before to give them away but no one would take it.
Anyway Its a 15' monitor, a case with mobo, 233 CPU, live sound card, 64 MB ram. Also have a Sony reciever and 5 disk cd changer(both mint) that needs a fix..

I understand what you're going thru. I don't have much but I will send you a 566MHz Coppermine Celeron which overclocks to 876Mhz to get you started. I'll pay the shipping so don't worry about it. I'll also send you a brand new 3 button mouse if you want. Let me know, ok?:type:

don't fall for this crap false christian. look at the specs ... do you really think he has that ... and even if he does, he is just another forum begger ... people go on forums/hardware review sites and email/post about how they have nothing and really just want some spare parts ...
go get a job.

i have tons of spare parts. But i would never send them to Phydeaux, because he reminds me of the bums that beg for cash then when they are done they jump ( yes with their broken back or whatever ) into their 2002 honda prelude and speed off. Mike's right get a job, but there's no reason to criticize someone you don't know.
