Long answer two; I do like to give away my old hardware to good homes and nothing makes me happier than to be able to give it to a mate to whom it'll be an upgrade. I do it a lot, it's fun and a lot better than letting the old stuff rot on the shelf. I do NOT however ever remembering a single one of 'em asking me for it, I just upgrade and whatever I pulled I figure out someone who can use it.

Coming on a new board and having your first two posts be begging for charity is considerably tacky/pushy/rude in my opinion, and I don't like nor endorse it. :(

If you were a friend asking to borrow some stuff I would help you out. But you are a total stranger, its rude to go asking for stuff. I think you were inspired by the recent cyber-begging stories in the media... Maybe if you were a teenage girl begging for cash to get a boob job I would help you :)
