Once again, its proven I am right about the Chicago / Cleveland trade. It was such a stupid trade by Cleveland. They give up their second best player(Gooden) and one of their best shooters(Hughes) for a bunch of scrubs(namely Thug Wallace).

From this trade, Cleveland went from Eastern Conference Champs to an "average" team in the East(which to be average in the East means you doing some kind of terrible). On the other hand, the Bulls go from one of the worst teams in the ENTIRE NBA to actually kind of decent. Not great by any means, but LIGHT YEARS better than before.

Reason I am making this thread isn't to say "told you so", but really just to vent because I feel absolutely terrible that a player the caliber of Lebron James. He is easily the 1st or 2nd best player in the league, and he has had ZERO help since joining the league. Instead of helping, the Cavs screw his team even more. What does this mean for Lebron? Lets forget about Lebron being absolutely miserable. Thats pretty obvious. Biggest thing here is Lebron James of ALL players in the NBA deserves MVP. He deserved it last year and damn sure deserves it this year. Will he get it? No. He won't. I'm so confident he won't get it, I GUARANTEE he won't get it.

Lebron is the best all around player in the league. The best clutch player in the league. One of the best small forwards to EVER play the game. Yet, his chances of winning MVP are equal to the chances of Sam Cassell winning MVP. Its a fact that winning teams win MVP. Which, rightly so. Winning teams deserve MVP. Chris Paul is that MVP for right now(not Kobe).

So anyway. Good going Cavs. I hope Lebron leaves your sorry team.

/hopes for Nuggets to trade Melo+J.R. Smith for Lebron James. :D

You ever considered that LeBron probably wanted the wallace trade? You honestly think that Clevland would pull a trade like that without asking LeBron?

Kobe is the best player in the league. Better than LeBron. Better than Chris Paul. Finally, he's got a team that can run with him, and their record speaks for itself. Lakers are finally a contender without Shaq.

A championship team is not built in 3 years. LeBron will have his day, but consider how long it took Jordan to get a championship team around him? Probably the same deal with LeBron.

oh, btw, I wouldn't go calling for MVP and "greatest clutch player" after they lost to a scrub Chicago team that won't even make the playoffs.

I think you were wrong about Dallas catching fire when Dirt went down, IIRC.

I didn't see Dallas get any better or worse. Basically stayed the same. They definitely played better team ball without him.
