Suggestion for "hiding" the testing forum

Since it is relatively easy to "hide" a section or make it opt in/opt out, is it possible to hide the testing section?

There are thousands upon thousands of useless posts in the name of post whoring every week and since it is a relatively small, but over-active group of people engaged in it, I am sure they won't really care if the section is essentially made available to them alone.
