Suns lost to this scrub team! http://www.nba.com/games/20080406/DALPHX/gameinfo.html I was actually rooting for the Suns for once! This hurts Denver for being in the playoffs. Mavericks need to be losing some games!


Zelda, WTF?!? You need to talk to your team. No sense in them losing to a team with Dirt Noshowerski on it.

Denver is playing tonight again Seatle(thank god). Definite win there. I'm going to be on the edge of my seat this whole week in hopes Denver stays in the playoffs!

Zelda, WTF?!? You need to talk to your team. No sense in them losing to a team with Dirt Noshowerski on it.

It was a blowout until the fourth quarter when the suns didn't make wide open shots and scored only 9 points. It was a fluke. 90% of the time, suns win that game.

And as for Denver, they are in OT with the supersonics rofl.

Denver can still make the playoffs btw. They'll play GSW in like a week, and whoever wins that game will probably make the #8 spot.

You are sugar-coating :)

Some of the WORST officiating I have seen in a long time. Everyone whines and complains but during the stretch where the Suns didn't score in over 7 minutes, everyone was getting hammered on the inside, no calls. Deflections on Dallas were called in their favor instead of Suns ball. It was pretty pathetic.

Dallas was gifted the game in that stretch.

Camby is the only guy on the team who plays any kind of defense, much like Shawn Marion back in the day on the Suns. That, by itself, deserves credit :)

:wtf: Yea, thats probably the dumbest comment you have made all year.... What does the fact that Denver is terrible defensively have to do with Marcus Camby? Its well known Marcus Camby is the only player on the entire team that can defend. So even though Marcus Camby is the best in the league at defending, he doesn't deserve the award because the rest of his team isn't? Maybe they should rename the award to "Best Defender in the League that is on a Good Defending Team".

Yeah, Suns have been getting raped by the refs the last few games. I mean it is really ridiculous. But you can't be one of those teams that bitch about bad calls, and I'd rather the BS officiating to happen now instead of in the playoffs.

The same way MVP won't go to an amazing player on a losing team. I'd rather see the Defensive player of the year go to a team that can actually shut other teams down. No one denies Camby is good, but we're talking about the best.

Camby is the best at defense. No one in the entire league is better than him at defense. MVP is a completely different. MVP goes to most valuable player of WINNING teams. Its the only award in the entire NBA that is like that.

So are you telling me that Rookie of the Year should go to someone other than Kevin Durant? Kevin Durant is on the worst team in the NBA other than the Heat. So he should be penalized even though he is far and beyond the best? Its the same situation. Camby is the best at defense. Do you realize that this year Camby will be one of 3 people in HISTORY to ever have leading blocks in a season for 4 seasons? Kareem and Mark Eaton are the only players in history to hold blocking titles for 4 seasons. Camby is joining them. Thats pretty impressive. And yes, before you say it. I know "stats aren't everything" (unless of course we are talking about the Suns. Then stats mean everything as long as they are good). Camby is a presence on the court. Best defensive presence in the game today. He deserves that award just as much if not more than he deserved a spot on the All Star team.
