Hello, i am looking for some good aircoolers for my upcoming 8800gtx SLI setup. I want to be able to overclock well, therefor i swap the stockcoolers to something alot better. Any recommendations?

I've looked into the Hr-05 plus, but it seem very large (when a fan is added) and i dont think it will fit an SLI setup using two hr-05's on both cards with fan included. I also looked on the vf-900 but i am unsure how well it is cooling the mem's and the voltage regulator, i dont wanna fail when overclocking them. i've also checked on the Arctic cooling Accelero xtreme 8800, but it seem too thick and availability is very bad. So what more good VGA coolers is it out there for SLI? Any suggestions?

VF1000 with the ZM-RHS88. Pricey but efficient.

Is the VF-1000 better than the VF-900?

This test was done on a 8800gt, but should give you an idea.

Looks to perform very good, and is only 30mm high. The only problem i can find is that i need to buy the ZM-RHS88 heatsink memory cooler for the mem's witch cost about 65% of the total vf1000 cost.

price example, the vf1000 cost a 33$ and the RHS88 cost about 23$ thats not fun, i'll have to pay 55 dollars for this pack when it should cost only 33$. Isn't there any cheaper solutions that performs about as good?

I don't know, probably. I never looked for cheap, especially with highend gear. Always liked Zalman.

The Accelero Xtreme is supposed to be the same size as the stock cooler so should be SLI'able ,

It am de best one

Yes, but not after you put on fans on it. I already checked that one but it seem to thick. Besides its not available here either so its not an option. The vf-900 doesn't work on g80 so it seem like the vf1000 with the expensive memory heatsink is the best option.
