View Full Version : How is Jericho? Worth $20

Jericho is $20 at Best Buy, so I was wondering what you thought of it? I didn't like the demo too much as I'm not a fan of the "flood you with 10 million enemies" type of game, but for $20 it might be fun. What do you think?

No. :p

Go buy Medal of Honor: Airborne, I've played it through about 2-3x. :D

I enjoy Jericho very much. It has some interesting story and if you enjoy Clive Barker stuff, then you should get it. $20 isn't a bad deal.

I'm actually impressed how well it ran and graphically it does look very nice. I love the camera work in first person. There's some excellent level designs going on there. Also don't expect a lot of scares but it's pretty gory and disturbing. I like how it deals with alternate dimensions, forms of purgatory, deathless existence, and hellish settings.

Medal of Honor: Airborne isn't $20 and it's not THAT great. It's decent and very short.

I vote Airborne > Jericho.

Jericho wasn't too bad, but it wasn't great either. Lots and lots of the same stuff over and over. I would say its worth $20 though.

Definately worth $20, but then I think any decent game is...

I liked Jericho allot. Story and characters are more memorable then most games to me. If I didnt already own it I would pick it up for $20.

I got it for $7.50 last time Circuit City had games on sale.

As long as you don't pay full price for it, it's worth it.

Bought it when it was new for the 360, replaced it a day later for the orange box :)
then I picked it up again for PC when it was on sale.

It's a decent game. Voice acting suxx pretty bad (I hate the priest guy >_<)
The controlls for PC version is a bit messy, worked better with a game pad to be honest.
Performance in game is exelent I think, textures and gfx is pretty good too.
_If_ the game was longer, and they made better use of the "uniqe" game play, and made it more scary (like original Fear) rather then just goory, this game would have been elevated above just average/decent.

Great price for a very good me IMO, I enjoyed it a lot. It isn't as great as it could have been, but still a very good game

Medal of Honor :D

no offence, but that looked terrible :(
maybe the youtube quality didnt do it justice, but it looked just like the russian WW2 shooter that was onsale on steam, Stalingrad or w/e, running on the 1.6 counterstrike engine.

I say buy the game, its worth it. The only thing that really bothered me was the ending. You can live (and live happily at that) with everything else. Voice acting is great actually, its just that some of things some of the characters say are damn stupid. Graphics are ace, art is top friggin' notch! Game is great all in all!

$10 yes, $20...NO! ;)

04-07-08, 10:15 AM
Not worth it.

It's ok, I guess. Some cool idea's in it. I just cant stand not being able to jump in a shooter. Really takes me out of it.

Do you work for EA? You pimp that game too much. :p

Great game, though. :D
