Your link for the memory takes me to a new egg page that shows the price on it @ $99.99... I'm interested, but not interested enough to pay $25 more for used than new if ya get my drift

So... the only difference between the Q9450 and the Q6600 (G0) is the Q9450 is 266MHz faster, has 4MB more L2 Cache, has a 1333Mhz FSB, and is on the 45nm process. I'd imagine one could push a Q9450 to 3.6Ghz on air with relative ease... but such an OC is not guaranteed.

While with a Q6600 I could probably get 3.2 to 3.4GHz *alsmost* guaranteed (air cooling), I'd lose 4MB L2 Cache (don't think this is a big deal for gaming... atleast not yet), and I'd lose ~266MHz FSB. I suppose that the Q9450 would probably run cooler as well, but it would also cost over twice this much, and that is for an OEM (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115039) as well!

Hmm... would you accept PayPal? :D

And also the Q9450 has SSE4.1 in addition to just MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3 (or others).

So if Newegg lowers the Q6600 price you'll drop that too??? :wonder:

:D :D :D :p
Honestly, I'd wet myself if I checked newegg and saw OEM Q6600s for less than $175...

I guess I would have too since people would then have no reason to buy from me.
