Saw this on another forum.

Vista is clearly to intended to run on anythin other than the latest technology or Vista has some huge performance issues (I don't know know if SP1 was installed on that system).

sorry, but that picture doesn't say anything.

its from a disc, as far as we know that disc could be cratched to hell and drive has poor error correction features, disc is stuck on few seconds trying to read it again and again.

If you believe the time remaining is accurate, then according to the position of the progress bar, the person has been copying that file for about 35,000 days now. Correct?

I weren't trying to trouble check it. I just wanted to show what I saw.

Ok here's another funny Vista moment.

The other day at school, a friend asked if he could use my laptop to check his email. I said sure. So he sits down in front of it. The FIRST thing he says is "WOOOOWWWW!!!! Is this Vista?". Lol. I burst out laughing...Turns out it was his first time using/seeing vista. And he hadn't even heard about their advertising the WOW effect. Hilarious.

This was hotfixed a long time ago. Its just the estimate, the actual time takes uhh significantly less. I had something like that saying it would last over 10 years to copy, but then it took 10 minutes.

I love Vista 64, maybe I'll put it on my notebook too (sweet 4GB upgrade today). :D
Now, it does have a GM965 chipset and T7500 (EMT64) CPU, I reckon there won't be any problems ?
