I grabbed nvtweak and nhancer. Im currently using a 9800 GX2, When I had a 7950GX2, nvtweak would actually give me options in hardware for SLI and to enable the load bars. In vista with GX2 it doesn't.

How can I enable the SLI load bars in Vista x86 using the WHQL 174.74s?

You have to use something like nHancer to enable it.

yea, I got it. You have to edit the config of nhancer to force showing SLI, then you get an SLI tab and can enable the load bars.

What exactly did you edit? I can't seem to get it to display in nvidia cp (but then again I have a 3rd card on for dual monitor sli and the sli tab is completely missing).

I always go to the top of the NV Control Panel beside of the "File" "Edit" Etc. and there is 3DSettings click on it and check Show SLI Visual Indicators

Its not there when you have a 9800 GX2 installed... yet. I hear Nvidia will enable this in a future set.

Goto the nhancer.config and open with notepad. Force SLI change from False to True and if you are in Vista there is a SLI DX10 option, change that to true. Restart nhancer you will have an SLI tab, click it there is an option to show the SLI bars, however you have to enable this everytime you boot up.

Make sure you're in any of the 3D Settings, then you will see the 3D Settings drop down at the top left corner of the nvcpl.
