I've got vista on my laptop with a nvidia 6100go chip and with the latest drivers dated 2/1/08 the screen flashes black for about 3 seconds whenever i get a UAC prompt, which is annoying as hell. When I revert to my older drivers I get no black flash and the transition for the prompt is much shorter. Is there any fix to this or do I have to wait for newer drivers to see if they fix this?
