Carmelo Anthony is a Douche-bag who will never change

Just when you think that the douche has learnt his lesson and can't possibly do anything else to bring his team, the league, the sport and himself into disrepute, he out-does himself.

NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony was arrested early Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, hours after his worst game of the season.

The Denver Nuggets forward was arrested on Interstate 25, police said. He was alone in the car and pulled over for weaving and not dimming his lights.

Detective Sharon Hahn said Anthony failed a series of sobriety tests. He was charged with DUI, then taken to police headquarters before being released to a "sober responsible party," Hahn said. Anthony is due in court May 14.

Mark Warkentien, the Nuggets' vice president of basketball operations, said the team was aware of the situation but declined comment. The Nuggets did not practice Monday and Anthony wasn't available. He's expected at practice Tuesday.

Anthony's attorney, Dan Recht, said his client consented to a blood test, but results won't be available for about two weeks.

"Carmelo apologizes to his fans, the Denver community, his teammates and the Nuggets organization for the distraction this is causing them," Recht said.

The class, or lack thereof of the Denver Nuggets franchise will be demonstrated by their next action by this so-called "professional". If they do not suspend him for the rest of this season and the start of the next and enroll him into a program to clean his act up, I have no respect for them any longer regardless of the valiant efforts of Camby and Iverson for the team.

One thing I will point out is that Camelo Anthony is a "douch bag" for driving over the alcohol driving limit(which quite honestly could have been anything). However, Jason Kidd is a class act even though he has beaten his wife numerous times. Just interesting.



I'm not defending Melo in the slightest because I completely stopped caring for him after his wanna be boxer/run episode. Still though. When Jason Kidd was beating on his wife, no one even cared.

It was a flagrant foul committed by a team against another that was running up the score. That's what happens when you don't have ethics. If you are up 20-30 points in a dead game and still continue to run the score up, these things happen.

Jason Kidd actually went to counselling and has been a model citizen off the court before and after that incident. He is still with his wife and he is still competing day in and day out. Has he committed other violations? No? interesting, just interesting.

Carmelo's list of violations grows and he has shown no remorse in continuing to bring disrepute to his team and the NBA.

Also even before this game, a whole different game there was another incident where game was over but Mardy Collins decided to give a flagrant foul just because he can.
