So this app isn't optimizing the registry or core system files right?

This would be bad if it did cuz those are sensitive areas and could resolt in bsod's or instability.

I dont see how it would be hurting anything really

Yea, thats true but you never know even with windows.

I did a Paint.net install on a vista rig and during the optimizing rutine, funny things were happenin like it would turn off my dreams and the sidebar would act silly .

But after its magic, alls good here at kingbadasses.

I installed Paint.NET and don't remember this optimising system stuff. It's probably optimising it's own system, perhaps setting up AMD specific instructions so it'll run faster on your crummy AMD systems. LOL

I kid Bman I kid vim.

I own like lots of setups from AMD 's to quad Intels.

I got like 4 gaming rigs for folks when we have lan parties but thats not much these days.

It does that on my Q9650 too and even my AMD XP2800 which was weird cuz that setup died just last week but thats not the blame.

The app is only optimizing to the .NET Framework system, it uses .NET Runtime optimization Service, for more info go here (http://blogs.msdn.com/davidnotario/archive/2005/04/27/412838.aspx)
