* April 21, 2008: Original Equipment Manufacturers, Volume License, Connect, and MSDN and TechNet subscribers
* April 29, 2008: Microsoft Update, Windows Update, Download Center

It should be good - tests I ran on a beta build of SP3 around December of last year showed frame rate increases of up to 10% in some games above that of a fully-patched SP2. I do semi-expect that MS will have slowed the code to resolve this difference (after all, it would leave Vista a slightly more substancial ~20% slower than XP, which might be enough to persuade even the most ardent of Vista's fanclub to switch back), but whatever happens, it should make for some interesting benchmarks.

Cool beans. Too bad I don't have XP on my machine anymore, but I do have Windows XP on my Linux laptop. :D

I've been waiting for this for a LONG time. It's going to make life a lot easier for those of us in the IT field who deal with OS deployment. Have you guys seen how many updates you have after a fresh XP SP2 install? Well over 100 on the first past alone. I think its around 120-130 or so after a few restarts and waits... It's ridiculous. I've been running RC2 on my production machine and its solid through and through. I'm slip streaming this bad boy as soon as I get it downloaded.
