OMG. This is going to be a KILLER series.
I really hope the Suns tear the Spurs a new one. What the refs/dirty spur players did to the Suns last year was ridiculous. Suns deserve payback... although if i were to bet money I'd say Spurs will win, but it will be close.... We'll see.

I agree on all counts. Duncan v. Amare, Barbosa v. Ginobli, Nash v. Parker...
Should be great. Best first round series in a long time.
I might actually go watch a game, if my friends can get a ticket :D

Suns were 3-1 against the spurs this year, and after Shaq they were 2-0. Combined with the fact that the Suns probably want REVENGE BIG TIME, I think the Suns are going to kill them.

Suns in 5 ;) .
I think 6 or 7 games personally. Bowen's probably going to end up hurting someone and Horry will likely pull off a cheap shot if/when he comes back.
I hope Hill is ready to go because it would be a shame for him to sign off without another win in the playoffs.

Unfortunately I think this will happen as well. And don't forget about Manu "i like to pretend I get fouled by the wind" Ginobli. Its a shame a classy player like Duncan is on a team with such heathens.

I was all about Duncan being classy till I saw the crap he pulls.
Watch him. He ALWAYS gets shots into the guys down low when they are guarding him or if he guarding them. Watch his hands and elbows and the little pushes. Every single game, he is pulling the same crap. It's harder against big guys like Shaq but he also does his ENORMOUS eyes routine when his shot doesn't go in and almost always get the foul called on the defensive player.
He's a good player but classy? I think not.]
David Robinson was and still is classy.

I have seen Duncan do that a few times, but I never knew it was really an issue. Spurs are one of those times I rarely watch play because they are boring and dirty. So I don't doubt at all what you say.
GO SPURS GO !!!
Spurs in 6

Living in Texas, they are ALWAYS on the FSN channel so I watch them more than any other team. This season has been especially dirty. It's like all the players are trained to take cheap shots.
I still like the Spurs more than the other Texas teams but, they continue to play dirtier every season. Bruce Bowen is by far the dirtiest player in the game today.

that game was insane... Duncan travelled on his 3 IMO. And the Nash 3 was amazing at the end of 2OT. Gotta hand it to Ginobli though, the Suns had no answer for his double-clutch layups.

Man Sick game! Some very clutch shots, I knew Ginobli was going to drive at the end why didnt
they have some1 waiting for him at the basket....
Anyone have a doubt now whether the Spurs are a dirty team? :)
But, good game all around. Amare made some bone-headed decisions down the stretch and Diaw was in the same vein. Well played overall though. And kudo's to Duncan for that 3. Who would thunk it? :)

Anyone else see him travel on that 3? (not that an NBA ref would ever call it in that situation)
He shuffled both feet ...
Well, Shaq got hammered and he was pushed on many shot attempts but no calls :(
Still, the Suns played well and the Spurs did what they had to in their home.

LOL, there was one shot by Duncan very late on where he was literally hugging Duncan with one arm and trying to block a shot with the other... and no call because Shaq had 5 fouls already.
Shaq played very well. The Spurs stole one... that hurts the Suns bad. They should have been able to pull it out. I'm tempted to change my prediction. :)

I remember that one lol.
I figured, seems like a no-call coz of all the other bogus ones they called on him.
The 2 offensive fouls because of flops? Come on.
The NBA really needs to come down hard on people flopping. Review the tape after the game and give them points, like for technicals and then suspend the dirty players.

I think After u catch the ball you're allowed two steps even without a dribble.I dont like how the Spurs flop and how they bitch every play but they got a solid fundamental team.

I hate flopping. ****ing euros, go play futbol if you're going to do that ****.
@kingme02: 2 steps when you catch the ball??? Two steps is a travel... you get 1.5 when you're driving to the basket... right?
It looked like Duncan caught the ball and moved his left foot, thinking about driving, but then stopped when he saw how open he was. Then he hesitated, squared up to the hoop to shoot. After that he moved his other foot (his pivot foot), as the shot went up.
Again, you would have to have Bigman size cajones to call that shot off in San Antonio. LOL!
To be honest, if a player is in a catch and shoot, I see them catching and setting up with a 2 step hop all the time.
I am assuming it's legit because everyone does it.
