Hi all,

I recently purchased a 'Dell Inspiron 530' which came with '2GB of RAM shared with graphics'. This, unfortunately does not cut it as I am only getting around < 50 FPS in CS 1.6. I would like to be able to continually get around 100+ FPS, and was wondering what type of Graphics card would be necessary for this. I would not like to spend more than $150 NZ, therefore I think a 512mb maybe out of reach. Would a 256mb graphics card be able to give me the desired FPS and a generally lag free CS1.6? Is there any specific type of grahpcs card I should obtain or any that I should steer clear of?

Thanks heaps,
Hganavak

8500GT or 8600GT will do.
