Anyone got Bloodrayne to start?

Everytime I double click the icon to play, I just get a message saying "wrong disc inserted". I have tried both discs one and two. Has anyone else had this problem? If not, can someone tell me which CD I am supposed to have in the drive? I can't seem to find any support pages for the game.

Its probably one of those retarded games that looks for the CD in your first CD drive, so if you have a CD writer on drive D and your regular CDRom is Drive E, you will have to run the game with the CD in the writer.

The annoying thing is, I have tried disc one in both of my CD drives and disc 2 in both of my drives. I have also installed it on a different computer and still get exactly the same problem. After I get the error message, Windows XP then suffers from a fatal stop. I am wondering if I changed it for another copy if it would be any better. If anyone is actually playing it in the UK right now and it is working, I would love to know.

Thanks for all the replies. I did look for a no-cd patch, but its difficult to know which sites to trust when you are downloading stuff. Anyways, problem solved. I took the game back to the shop I bought it from and they tried it on their test machine, got exactly the same problem and tried a different Bloodrayne CD off the shelf. This time the game loaded so they swapped it for me.

I guess all CDs are not produced equal after all. Funny though that out of about 100 Bloodrayne CDs on the shelf, I pick the one that doesn't work.
