I did try Firefox 64bit back in the days when there were those third-party builds of if that included all the tweaks that were supposed to make it work faster and everything, plus with CPU-specific EXEs. It was nice in theory, but in practise, it performed no faster than normal firefox. All in all, the only difference between 32bit and 64bit Firefox is that when 64bit Firefox springs a memory leak, you'll get some even more impressive screenshots of Taskmanager. Assuming your PC hasn't crashed by that point, that is.

64-Bit Firefox also won't display flash due to Adobe's refusal to release a ******* 64-Bit version of the Flash.

Yeah, there is NO point in going to a 64bit internet browser until Adobe gets their act together an puts out a 64-bit flash version....although I think there's one in the works.

I'm not going back to it. After I installed it, my MS install was FUBAR the next day and I blamed it on that 64bit browser.

FF64 is good for "safe" web browsing. It's not likely to pick up any bad drive-by plugins or whatever since hardly anything works with it. Luckily adblock works, since flash sites tend to spam "I NEED A PLUGIN!!" popups @.@

But yeah, for most users it doesn't offer anything. I run it sometimes to be trendy and cool. To myself. ; ;

:rofl

That's a great selling point!!! "You won't get any, and I mean ZERO, virus after installing this browser. You may not get to the web at all as a matter of fact!"
