With so many NVIDIA Forceware Vista x64 drivers out that are beta or non-beta which has everyone come to love and use and recommend? I'm still using NVIDIA Forceware driver version: 169.25 Release Date: December 20, 2007 What about 9800 NVIDIA Forceware modded drivers for the 8800 Ultra?
Give me some insight on this and some better drivers. Thank you! :D
I'm using the 174.74's and they are working great.

x2! :) But any of the new releases should work better than the 169.25s.

I'm on 174.74 with no issues.
Whenever new releases come out, I check out their related threads in this forum so I can see what issues people have and decide whether or not I want to install.
Using 174.74 here as well. Was having issues with Fraps where any type of recording would stutter really bad with other drivers.
Reinstalled 174.74 and never looked back! ;)

174.93 works great for single card, some people have issues with SLI
so for single card 174.93
for sli 174.74

NVIDIA Foreware driver version 174.74 didn't recognize my NVIDIA 8800 Ultra's when trying to install...what's up with all that? :( I had to revert back to forceware version: 174.93 and it installed with no problem but I was after the 174.74 version.

Hey, did we forget that NVIDIA Foreware driver version 174.74 didn't recognize my NVIDIA 8800 Ultra's? How can I fix this problem or was that driver set designed for NVIDIA 9800's?

This beta does - worked with my 8800 GTX fine.

The WHQL version was only for series 9 cards though.

Well, NVIDIA sure needs to get better drivers for the aging 8800 Ultras. Noah's ark might return before new drivers pop-up on NVIDIA's webite....

I like 175.12.

174.74 gave me a bug in "Assassin's Creed". 175.12 are also faster with 3dmark Vantage.

I like the 175.12s over the 174.74s. Was getting nvlddmkm.sys error with the .74s.

You looking for the best driver, or was this another GRIPE thread about nVidia driver support?
Go get a ride on Noahs ark, or just take the advice you've already seen; or better yet, just read the existing threads.
Plenty to see as far as new drivers.
It's been an exciting ride for most.
