Yeah, boys are generally a real pain when they're young and girls real sweet and then the role reverses around the age of 13 or so.... just in general
That's a pretty accurate assessment, but there's a catch.

The daughters really do love the parents, it's just a very, very "ME ME ME ME" type of love, til they grow out of it anyway.
