My Lord - Can someone put this into plain english for me please.
I seem to hit a point around 3ghz where, regardless of timings, performance seems to drop as I raise the fsb, and I think it has to do with a strap change as mentioned here (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=185825), which is where I found the above article.
fwiw I've run many combos of 10,11 and 12 multi with fsb from 200 - 265, most of it with Mushkin pc2-8500 @ cl5.
It may be simpler than what I'm making it out to be - any thoughts?
