GT200 not the real new ultimate card

I read in a brandnew german magazine today following:

The GT200 is not the real ultimate card.

The completely real new architecture comes end 2008, Beginning 2009!
Maybe 2 processors on 1x GPU. Like the processors today like core 2 duo.
Name and codename is currently unknown.

But yes... until then the GT200 will be the ultimate card.

The GT200 is to be priced with 400 Euro.
The new card end this year, beginning next will then be 600-700 Euro

That's it, really. We're just gonna have to wait and see.

I always thought a dual core GPU was pointless, anyhow. There is no core as such from what I understand, just a load of shaders. Surely they would just double the shaders, not the 'cores'.

GT200 is probably still G80 based just like 9800GX2. I really hope real next GPU come fast.

GPUs are already multi core - well sort of think is cluster of stream processors (SPs) as a core :p
