OMG I JUST read this.

Good riddance? Are you kidding? He's one of the best coaches in the league! Very bad move by Mark Cuban.

The problem with the team is centering it around an inconsistant player, Dirt Noshowerski. Granted the coach should have realized this, but they could easily trade Dirt for another player and do tremendously better. The team needs a leader. Not Dirt, and not some thug by the name of Jason Kidd.

My proposed trade idea? Trade Dirt AND Jason Kidd to the Cavs for Lebron James and a lesser player like Daniel Gibson. Both teams would benefit tremendously from this trade.

One more thing.

Avery Johnson needs to be head Coach of the Denver Nuggets. Get rid of that slimeball quitter of a coach the Nuggets have now.

Dirk and Kidd are HOF's, eventually. Avery can't get them out of the first round against a bunch of untested young players (albeit good ones). He doesn't deserve the job.

I look forward to the Mavs getting nuked from top to bottom. I wonder if anyone is safe there... Cuban really ****ed up by dealing for Kidd. ROFL.

Despite a string of stellar regular-season efforts, it has not translated to much playoff success

That pretty much sums it up.

Isn't Avery under .500 in the post-season?

With a team that is over .700 in the regular season, that's not acceptable.

Cavs would never trade LeBron James.

A team that is built around Dirk will not win a championship. Has nothing to do with Avery Johnson.

I like that people around here call him Dirt. Part of the reason I stick around. :)

I don't think the Cavs would do it on their own, but if lebron's contract is due to run out and Lebron wants to go (which he will), they won't have a choice but let him go. If they were smart, they would trade lebron before his contract ended because Lebron is far more valuable trading than releasing for free agent money.

Sort of like any team built around Amare or Nash :smoking:

lebron's contract is due to run out.

when is his contract up Tyger?

why would LeBron James leave the Cavs and go to the Mavericks when his contract expires? That makes zero sense whatsoever.

LeBron is not a paycheck player. The guy is going to be filthy rich regardless of the team he's on. He wants to create a legacy. Like Jordan. Like Kobe. He's not going to get that if he jumps from team to team in search of a quick championship.

I never said Lebron would do that. I just said he *should*.

Hell, Lebron could be on the Sonics and bring them to the NBA finals. Lebron really is on the worst team in the entire league, minus him obviously.

And DOC. If you think Lebron will get more help, you are delusional. The Cavs apparently are doing their best to keep Lebron from being happy and winning championships. While Kobe might be the "best" player in the league, Lebron is BY FAR the most valuable player to enter the league since Primetime Shaq.

How the heck is he on the worst team in the league?

The Cavs are a pretty decent team, ESPECIALLY given the weakness that is the East. The team has been built around Lebron. You have shooters and rebounders and they help stretch the defense for Lebron to make his 4 step journeys to the hoop and rebound the misses from all the shots. They aren't one of the best rebounding teams because they suck, they actually play decent defense and allow Lebron to go out and gamble on defense.

I can't picture a team he can move into right now that would allow him to win immediately without the other team giving up a fair bit in return. Get rid of Ben Wallace and that free's up the money to make a run at a proper point-guard who can play (Larry Hughes just didn't work out).

And Lebron really needs to get off talking about himself in the 3'rd person and saying it's Lebron's team. Heck, even Kobe doesn't do that in his interviews.

A Lebron James team is never desperate.
