So this is weird.

I put a few developer blogs and game trailers from gametrailers.com and at first, one video worked, started playing, so I exited it to check the others, and the rest wouldn't play, so I go back to the first one, and it won't play now.

Can they not play from the DVD? Am I supposed to use a thumb drive?

As far as I know you HAVE to either download them from Live or stream them from a XP or Vista PC using Media Player or Media Centre.

I'm talking about PS3, look at the title. :p And on my 360, I was able to play 720p movies from a DVD. :)

I've been led to believe that you need to turf them on the ps3 HD.

Are the wmv copyrighted? I don't think the PS3 can play copyrighted wmv's. I never had an issue with 720p divx and avi.

No, they're game trailers and what not, so not copywrited, and t therefore, no DRM stuff.

No clue then, Never really tried putting the media on a DVD. Usually throw it on my thumb drive... I wana get a larger drive for my PS3, thinking about a 250GB Drive.
