Well skillz are lacking and there is also lag...my latency to the server is 250ms...so I whiff a lot of combos....circle strafing and stuff

I turned off grass, which is weird anyway, and everything just flies on max settings. Loving it :)

Is the because of the new servers? I am thinking about playing again this weekend. Is there a server you would recommend?

if u wanna pvp go all out on new pvp servers "deathwish" or "fury"

pve in US = Wiccana got large population

Its not Fury buddy ... The new EU server is caller Rage ... Again has a very large population, Loving the new PvP rules.

Now if you loose a PvP fight you drop gear from your bakcpack/bag ... You can only drop gear than not character bound though, The ruins in tortage is now a PvP ares too in the new servers.

Funnt thing ive noticed ... The ganking seems no where near as bad in the new Rage server as it was/is in Fury. I think people are afraid to loose gear lol, If you loose a PvP fight you dropp some random kit from your bag, Something thats not character bound anyway.

I mean im not saying you dont get ganked becasue you do ... Its part of the game but its not as bad as i though it was gonna be.

Its usually only if these more than one and they know they can win they randomly attack you.

Now i played the game from release and have always rolled PvP servers so ive had alittle practice ... I can usually hold my own in a one on one battale of somebody of a close lvl.

I aint done than much PvPing though in this new server yet ... Only defending myself, I think im like 20 deaths and 15 kills, A couple of those deaths i was ganked or attacked while talking to a NPC.

Ive only just hit lvl 27 with my Barb.

Barbs = OP for PVP...so I have been told lol

I wouldn't know as I am a PVE carebear

Well they can be ..... Suppose any class can be if you know what your doing, How to PvP and how to Feat correctly.

Being good at PvPing is all about practice, Having your key binds set up correctly and using your combos in the right order.

i know all about PVE feating, key binding and rotations....but not PvP.....i whiff a lot

And on a different note, I switched my sli GTX460 for a single 6950. Man, the change is huuuuuge. I don't know why, but the game looks much better. Seriously, I am seeing great detail all of a sudden. And whats better - performance is better too. I can play everything maxed (instead of underwater detail) and its smooth as butter - never dipping below 40 frames. And this is with grass on high. With my gtxs, I could not play with grass on, or performance would dip much lower. I guess these 2 gig of vram really help at 19x12.

I'm loving the game again :)

That website has feat planners etc and others build posted up

AoC does require a video card that can handles its graphics for optimal immersion and enjoyment. 460 should have been ok but the 6950 should be even better.

SLI 460 was OK, but that is it. Framerate wasn't steady, and 1gb vram was not enough for all eye candy on. I feel like I just discovered the game. Whats more, picture quality IS better. I checked with 460 and with 6950, and somehow, it is better with the 6950.

^I see more and more people online. Tortage is filled with players. Nice to see people return to this game now, it was pretty barren before.

Apparently it pretty dead now ... Shame.

I've been looking for a good one to latch onto and am experimenting with AoC and Rift. I'm not interested in Star Wars. Not my thing. AoC and Rift both seem like they have potential, though. Just don't want to invest a lot of time in a game that's going to be dead and out of date soon.

That was a mini expansion pack with 6 man group instance and one 24 man tier 3.5 raid instance and it launched last year

Since then Funcom have launched a huge team instance, House of Crom which is available to free to play but have consistently borked other things...

ah well, I am on Wiccana server...holler if any still play there
