I always been hing this issue with setpoint and my G5 Mice.
Sometimes the speed changes for no reason during a windows sessions.
Games, its fine, but if im logging off or in or even when i was using media player, the speed would change.
I got my dpi settings on 2000 in the settings and my mouse is 3 clicks down from amx in dpi and have setpoint determine the windows movement of the mouse.
Is their normal behavior or is their something wrong with the driver that runs these mice?

Your Bigman paws are bumping the DPI buttons.

I know that the mx revolution mouse changes DPI between apps m8, maybe there is an option,,,, hang on let me check.... *checks for options* ok so i don’t have my mouse plugged in and the gamer mode isn’t showing up but I think I have seen an options for profiles or something like that, maybe setpoint has profiles for firefox and stuff?
Also are you really that big?

I think you should set it to 6/11... that's the best in order to avoid Windows from interpolating...
anyways, I suggest you to get Uberoptions ;)

I would love to see some pictures of the rig in your sig.
My G5 works just fine without it Bigman. I can adjust acceleration via the buttons without the software messing with it.

Dude,
Do you not have any pictures of your rig? I have asked you nicely several times. Just say no if you do not want to share any images of your uber rig, but don't be rude.

I use my mx 518 without that horrid software, I just get slow, normal and fast speeds without it and can't change the ratios. I rarely use them anyway but I don't have to run possibly the worst piece of hardware associated software I've ever seen.
