Need advice on build

Building a rig, have around 2500 to spend. I want it somewhat upgradeable. I still have some $$room so if anyone can help with some advice on where they would make improvements, I would be greatfull. Also, am I missing anything?

Better ram, say gskill or muskin and 4 gigs. Better and bigger hdd, say samsung spinpoint t.

I would also go with 64 bit vista. That case looks to be well built, but not the prettiest I have seen by a long shot. Cosmos S is nice, and would be my pick right now.

That ram seems very overpriced. Get 4gigs of cheap 1066mhz. It won't make much difference other than overclocking headroom. If you aren't overclocking, go with 4gb of cheap 800mhz.

Also, if you don't have any plans to go SLI, go with an Intel chipset board.

A faster\bigger hard drive will also help a lot. Either a seagate 7200.10, 7200.11 or a samsung spinpoint t.

And definitely Vista x64.

I have changed to Vista 64,and also put down different RAM. Although I read that Vista 64 has issues with 4 gigs of RAM? Also, I was thinking about the WD Raptor 150 gig drive. I know it's small, but I never keep anyhting on my PC, I only have games on there, and only a few at a time. I have never had an issue with space. Thanks for all the help.

No m8 vista 64 will love 4 gigs of ram, its 32 bit that can't handle it.

I have four 1 gig sticks of these and they are good value/performance sticks...
