Greetings all,
I'm a linux noob and could use some help. I recently installed RH 9 on my box and I have an Asus GE Force 3 card. I installed the new driver per the installation instruction and it does appear to have installed correctly. That said...
How do I test the installation. Are there any apps out there that will put my system through it's paces and benchmark it at various resolutions?
The reason I ask is because I installed quake 3 on my box and it works, but only up to 800x600. Above that, the game just dies and returns to the desktop. Now, I have not installed the latest point release yet, so I don't know if that will solve the issue.
Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated.
