Yeah, I don't mind banner ads, but this pop down over your browser Circuit City ad is annoying as sh**. :thumbdwn:

The website is free and you want to remove a source of income for the website which will keep it running.

To all members, keep it real, MikeC is doing his best for you lot to provide a free service and if that means you have suffer some pop ups or something in the posts....then thats the price you have to bear with. No way around it. Its really no big deal when you honestly think about it. A few seconds to get rid of the pop ups etc? Come awnnnnnnn folks...

some sites have these nice adds that make the page disapear, different page shows up, and you have to wait 10 seconds to a button "close add" ;)

As for the ads, well, I will be honest. I HATE ads and I use adblock and noscript. I understand why they are there. They help pay for the site fees. I don't expect MikeC/D/E/F/G™ to take them down, but if they were to pop up constantly like the CC ad that everyone is complaining about, I would go insane. They are there to support the site, not make it almost impossible to VIEW the site.

I don't mind the ads when their not directly in the way but man these new ones are horrible. They pop up and take half the screen if you roll over them...
