175.16 WHQL Vista drivers (All cards)

Hey guys when I install these drivers and restart my pc, my monitor goes into power save mode as if it werent getting a signal. I tried switching the DVI cable to all 4 different dvi connectors on the cards but no luck. I booted into safe mode and reinstalled the 174.74. Im running Vista 64. Any Ideas on this problem? Apparently Vista boots up fine, but no display. :(
exact same problem... 8600GT on vista 32.
i was using some 169 driver before updating. i tried downgrading to 196.25 but it didn't solve it... so i'm trying 169.44 after reading the comment about it in the first page of this topic...

so basically, windows loads, when i log in my session, it starts right, processes start loading and suddenly it goes into power save mode... like there's no video signal...

any tips?

i ahve for my XP found the 174.82´s very good very fast well now i have the 175.70´s also stable and good and fast

Weak drivers. Control panel stops working after about a day. Re-installing fixes it, for about a day.

Quick Q : What are the recommended drivers for the 280 currently ?? (WHQL ones unless there is a better beta)

I am finding these make my card run extremely hot. Have GPU fan running at 2500rpm in Everest (BFG 8800GTX OC2). Card idles at 58°C but rises to 79/80°C under load. PC usually throws me a blue screen at this stage.
