Terrible drivers for BioShock on my 7800 GTX. I don't know if it's because it doesn't detect my STEAM games and doesn't load the BioShock profile, or if it just stutters and lags because NVIDIA doesn't care about 7 series customers. The 169.44 run BioShock smooth, these make it lag and stutter and freeze constantly. It's unplayable. Everything else runs OK, but Windows still feels a little slower.

These are identical to the BETA 175.16's? If so, then you still can't set separate resolutions in Clone...

Digital vibrance was broke on my SLI'd 8800 GTS 640s and everytime i tried watching a movie i got a DISPLAY DRIVER HAS STOPPED RESPONDING error. I am now back on 174.74 with no problems. This was with the betas

Hey guys when I install these drivers and restart my pc, my monitor goes into power save mode as if it werent getting a signal. I tried switching the DVI cable to all 4 different dvi connectors on the cards but no luck. I booted into safe mode and reinstalled the 174.74. Im running Vista 64. Any Ideas on this problem? Apparently Vista boots up fine, but no display. :(

Its a slider under COLOR, really makes a HUGE difference in color brightness on LCDS. I love it. I just installed the official drivers and it still doesnt work.

To get DV to work...just disable SLI, change the DV (it will now work) and hit Apply and then enable SLI again.

Meh...I've been sticking with the 169.44's. They're the only drivers that work well with every game I've got installed. Later drivers including these beta give better performance in some games but also cause a lot of problems for quite a few other games. Boo on nVidia driver development.

Well i got these to install, but really wasnt worth it.
With SLI enabled these drivers introduced crackling and pops in the sound during gaming.
I reinstalled the 174.74s and ill probably stick with them for abit. :thumbdwn:

These drivers working flawlessly for anyone?

I installed and received an immediate BSOD (my 2nd one in 2 years of running Vista, both due to Nvidia drivers).

I had to roll back because upon reboot, it BSOD again while loading up. Thank god I was able to roll back. God bless Vista.

No issues here. Both Crysis and Company of Heroes runs slightly better with these than the 169.25, but nothing groundbreaking, haven't tried other games yet. DV works normally aswell.

I still can't force AA in Warcraft 3 for some reason. Anyone with a 8800GT and Warcraft 3 got AA working? Tried a couple of drivers before but it's just not working.

these drives even with date 5/2/08 are older then 175.63 and 175.70

a lot of profiles in nvapps.xml are older. quite a few games (all source games for example) are missing quad-sli support.

These are working well for me, so far.

I'm not sure if they are better than those 175.51 Quadro WHQL's though. That's a pretty good set.

I will know for sure when the Conan early access starts Saturday and I can get in game.

Understandable. I think the WHQL process takes a few weeks. These drivers were probably submitted in early to mid April.

I fixed BioShock. It no longer runs like crap with these drivers. Seems it was my fault for setting the Playback Devices (sound) to 192 khz at 24 bit. Setting it to 24 bit 48 khz does not hinder performance, but at 192 khz, BioShock eats up close to 1.5 GBs of mem. I should try Crysis again...maybe it'll run better now.

I like these so far.

The video driver crashed a couple times while I was playing Penumbra Black Plague last night, I'm not sure if it was the game or the driver since I haven't played the game in a while. After loading a saved game I couldn't play for more than a 5-10 seconds without it crashing and resetting the driver. After a reboot I played the game for about 3 hours and didn't have a single problem. (Very cool game BTW, much better than Overture)

Windows seems much more stable now though. I was using 174.74 (with stereo driver) before and I was getting an excessive amount of driver resets with Aero enabled and I couldn't even touch Dreamscene without the driver resetting or getting terrible artifacts.

These are fine so far. No errors or artifacts at all with Aero and Dreamscene enabled.

Meh... Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened is crashing the same way Penumbra Black Plague was crashing.

I haven't had any completely stable drivers in a while. I might give one of the newer betas a try but think I'm just going to go back to 169.44.

These have been good for me so far, great performance in LOTRO, Souce engine games, etc... Just got stakled off of Steam last night ($20 is hard to argue with) but it appears stable.

After having problems with these I went to 175.70 and they have been much more stable.
