Fantastic. I generally prefer them over WD, and I hold WD as a top tier provider. Their drives are generally quieter and cooler. They don't perform as well as equivalent WD drives in synthetic tests, but in real world applications you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.

DAMN, these things are only $120 normally...

I thought this $99 deal with like half-off... I had no idea 750Gb drives were getting this cheap.

DOC: I'm not sure about reliability but supposedly the F1 drives are the fastest consumer drives out now. And obviously the price is attractive.

For some reason there are a lot of complaints about data loss and DOAs with the 1Tb Samsung F1 drives on NewEgg though. That's a bit scary...

not sure about DOA, but if you look at Newegg other drives also have reports of DOA. data loss i know about, F1 drives have issues with nforce based board. but if you disable NCQ is all good

If I was buying a new drive I'd get one of those.

have not installed them yet, i plan to do it maybe on friday

need to clone my current seagate drives to new WD, and replace them. I'm 100% sure i will have to call my "friends" in india to get vista activated again.
