Ah, I've looked at the front page and I see what he's talking about.

The titles should be just that, titles. A title hooks the reader into the reading material. The daily posted news should have a "News items for xx/xx/xxxx" title (or whatever kind of titles they used to have), and if the author wants to put some other stuff in there before the obligatory links, then he should do so.

Those titles I presently see are definitely like "what?" If I were a noob looking for a hardware site and community, seeing that might make me think that the site is run out of a basement by Cartman or something. If SteveC is trying to do like HardOCP and put a bit of other material in before the daily news links etc then he should follow a formula similar to that. We're not on break with him, so we have pretty much no idea what he's talking about.

Srsly no offense SteveC. But this is the feedback forum and I ain't gonna BS myself into thinking those titles are uhh, ok or something.

It's like if you have a blog about cars and your post titles are about your grandma's boobs. Kinda incongruent if you ask me. :p
