View Full Version : Comparing large amounts of files on separate drives.
I have a rather large mp3 collection. On my old NAS I have 195GB, 39,82314 files in 2954 folders. I thought I moved it all when I backed up to my external HD but it's only showing 191GB, 39,321 files in 2941 folders. Is there a way using windows to check what files and folders are missing from the external without having to copy them all over again?

Oh wow, that's awesome.
I used to use FileSync but it was intended for Windows 98 and NT systems so it doesn't work very well on newer OSes.
I've been wanting a tool like this for a LONG time. :D

Yeah synctoy is great. I wonder why it still has it's "beta" status though....you'd think it would be well tested by now.
Used it last night. Synchronized 2 drives first and now tonight I will use the echo feature to move all new files to my new NAS :) Sweet tool!
