Cool.
I doubt I'll be upgrading any time soon, but I'm glad things are finally going to pick up after all this time.

I really hope the drivers aren't crap like they were for 8800GTX when it came out (we were stuck on Forceware 97.92 for how long?!)
Although to be fair I think the main reason 8800 drivers were bad to begin with was the whole Vista launch fiasco.

I am waiting. Doing some case upgrades and waiting patiently.
I am looking for a new PSU to possibly handle 2 of these in SLI. What do you guy ssuggest.
Yipeee! Maybe I'll finally be able to throw some AA at Crysis.

I'm guessing there won't be an issue like that again for a while. I would agree that throwing DX10 into the mix didn't help them. When the 8 series launched it was NVIDIA's first cards with unified arcitecture and DX10. They were making seperate drivers for Vista and XP exclusively for the 8 series and still needed to make drivers for all of their other cards.
I say bring it on as well. I've had one of the GTX's for 1 1/2 years already; it's already past the point where canned air won't clean all the dust. ;)
i've been watching the price of the 9800gtx here in aus. Initially it was around 480AUD, now its @ 380AUD~...
The 8800GTX is still 750AUD!~...

Do you use staticice? http://www.staticice.com.au/
9800GTX is as low as $330AUD, and 8800GTX $494AUD
Only cheaper brands are that low for the 9800, but for the 8800 were talking XFX, EVGA, Leadtek, MSI
