AMD is trying to compete with the price by making it cheaper. I think thats what they are trying. While Nvidia is trying to have the beef at a price. One advantage of ATI is x38/etc the intel chipset boards can use Xfire..and setting up Xfire might be a bit cheaper, and xfire tends to scale better...so maybe it might be a bit more 'budget' yet 'performance' target for ATI/AMD...

Ofcourse if nvidia is going to be faster at a price i think most people will be going nvidia...but if you cant afford it..all is not lost...or is it O.o...

problem with xfire that drivers are quite bad, and last time i checked you can't create your own profiles, so basically when a new game is released you are on mercy of ATi to provide a profile in the next driver or you are screwed.

Come on... I want to see some firm numbers. I call BS on the new GTX 280 crushing the new ATI card. Give these cards to some of those guys over @ Xtremesystems.com and lets see what they can do. :naughty:
