Game is crashing till you complete first three quests/kills, and then it runs fine...go figure. Pretty much once you past Jerusalem level.
I was at the end of the game. I just grabbed my save game and completed it in XP without a hitch. I was even playing in dx9 in Vista with Assassin's Creed. Never had a single crash in XP. I just started to play it in Vista and within the first 10 mins on Vista, CTD. BTW great game!

there might not be any 200 series driver, for same reason why nvidia skipped from 100.something driver to 150.something. don't remember the excact versions, but everyone was suprised about the huge jump when it happened.
something about old games not being able to detect driver version correctly causing AA issues.
Yeah, it was like 100.65 to 158.18 or something.

Every since upgrading from the 169's to the 175 drivers all my performance has improved.
However any time I try and alt-tab out of any games I have tried: Company of Heroes, Crysis are some of them I get a black screen and my computer is unresponsive. If I am on ventrilo though I will still hear voices. Anyone else having this problem, or perhaps know how to solve it? I figure its the drivers since when I reinstalled the old ones the issue was solved but I lost that increase in performance that the 175's gave me.
I have had the same black screen/alt-tab issue with LOTRO. Even without Ventrillo running in the background .....

Yeah, I have noticed this in LOTRO too with 175.51, in DX10 mode, didn't try DX9. I have to reset the computer
